If your business has sold over $250k and sent over 1 million emails, there is money sitting in your hard bounces right now. Jonathan has found it in every qualifying list every single time.
This one has strict criteria. It only works if your business has: a customer list of 1,000+, sold over $250k, and sent over 1 million emails. If that's you, the video above is worth your seven minutes. What Jonathan has found in every single qualifying list he's ever analyzed is a recoverable pool of revenue hiding in hard bounces.
Most businesses treat hard bounces as a dead end. They are not. There is a specific process for recovering, re-engaging, and monetizing contacts that your email platform has written off and it has produced over $15,000 in revenue on the first implementation for every client who qualified.
The video above shows exactly what to look for in your hard bounce data and the step-by-step process to recover and monetize those contacts.
Before you can recover anything, you have to pull the list. Here is exactly where your hard bounces live, and how to export them, inside the four platforms most of our clients run on. The screens move occasionally, but the path is the same: isolate the hard bounces, then get them out as a CSV.
Export: open the segment and choose Manage › Export segment to CSV. To eyeball the raw list, Profiles › View suppressed profiles shows everything Klaviyo has suppressed.
Export: from the filtered Contacts view, select all and click Export for a CSV. Add the same contacts to your Exclusion List to keep them out of future sends.
Export: select all, then use the bulk action Export. Kit emails a download link to your account address.
Max Classic (Infusionsoft)
Keap Pro & Max
Export: from either search result, select all and use Actions › Export to download a CSV.
Once you have that CSV in hand, the video above walks you through the rest: how to validate, re-engage, and monetize the contacts your platform wrote off.
